2016’s event marks the fourth instalment of The Art of Ping Pong, where distinguished artists come together to raise money for charity by celebrating the much loved game of Ping Pong.

This year’s collection takes a new turn by inviting conceptual artists, sculptors, jewellery designers and photographers to join the mix of talented illustrators.

Join us at the exhibition launch party on Thursday 3 November 6-9pm. It’s guaranteed to be another playful and lively night.

Spinning the tunes for the evening is photographer and film maker Tara Darby and art director of The Wire magazine Ben Weaver, who have created a playlist to get the ping pong party started. And big thanks to Seven Brothers Brewery, Jensen’s Gin and Ugly Water who’ll be keeping us all happily refreshed.

We’ve got a 3-a-side ping pong table for guests to get their game on, which has been generously donated by T3 Ping Pong and will be signed by a few of the artists and auctioned off after the event. And we’ve got our very own version of beer pong that we’re calling ‘art pong’ where you can win some Art of Ping Pong goodies.

We’ll be selling books, posters and other merchandise items for those who might not end up lucky enough to get their hands on an original artwork from the online auction. The limited edition book, produced to accompany the exhibition, is again sponsored by Fedrigoni and Colt Press.

The auction takes place between 1st and 30th of November. The Art of Ping Pong have partnered with Roll Studio to create a website and online auction. Collectors can bid for works online at www.theartofpingpong.co.uk.

So far the project has raised nearly £10k for charity. All profits from the auction this year go to the Alzheimer’s Society.
